The mission of the Latino Education Advancement Foundation is to improve economic outcomes for all currently socio-economically disadvantaged Latinx students and other students of color, by providing support services and advocacy, through higher educational attainment and career mobility, and to accomplish such predominantly in East San José.

College & Career Preparation

The College and Career Preparation Program empowers high school and middle school students, particularly first-generation students of color, to achieve their academic and career goals through strong partnerships with local schools and impactful initiatives.

College Success Program

The College Success Program offers personalized advising, financial aid support, and family resources. Our workshops equip students with the skills and confidence needed to navigate higher education, helping them thrive academically and prepare for successful careers.

Career Exploration & Discovery

The Career Exploration & Discovery Program offers a comprehensive, culturally relevant career development that effectively guided students towards employment opportunities

Family

LEAF’s Family Program supports Latinx families in East San José by providing resources and tools to help parents and guardians guide students through higher education and career pathways, fostering strong relationships with college administrators and the LEAF team.

Advocacy

LEAF's Advocacy Program tackles educational disparities for low-income Latino families by advocating for equitable funding and empowering communities to achieve educational equity.
