Milestones
Since our inception in 2019, LEAF has empowered over 800 first-generation Latinx students and families in East San José through academic guidance, career exploration, and financial support. Our impact continues to grow each year as we work to create educational equity and career opportunities for underrepresented students.

NSPA Scholarship Provider of the Year (2023)
LEAF was honored as the 2023 NSPA Scholarship Provider of the Year, acknowledging our innovative approach to providing financial support that helps first-generation students access and succeed in higher education.
Program To Watch for 2023 Examples of Excelencia
LEAF’s College Success Program has been selected as a Program to Watch for the 2023 Examples of Excelencia. This recognition is a testament to our commitment and focused efforts to improve the academic achievement of Latino students on our campus and in the wider community. LEAF is immensely proud to be one of the eight programs handpicked by Excelencia In Education from a pool of 103 nominations, and this recognition fuels our drive to continue making a positive difference in the lives of our students.
CORE Collective Cohort (2023-2025)
LEAF joined the CORE Collective Cohort, an initiative focused on promoting equity and inclusion in California's education systems. This partnership allows us to advocate for system changes that will benefit underserved communities across the state.
