Angela Lomeli Arriaga is a current student at Santa Clara University, where she is majoring in Political Science and Spanish Studies, and pursuing an Urban Education minor. She grew up in East San Jose, and is a first-generation college student. She is passionate about supporting students from similar backgrounds. She also supports students within Santa Clara University by serving as a peer educator for lower level political science courses, and she has been a LEAF mentor herself.

She comes to LEAF as a Jean Donovan Fellow, which is an opportunity designed to help students deepen their understanding of social justice through community based learning experiences. She is excited to work with LEAF and her community in San Jose.
