As Student Success Director at LEAF, Emily Ramos leads efforts to expand the College Success Program, now serving Latinx students from over 22 high schools in East San José. With over six years of experience in higher education and nonprofits, she is passionate about creating equitable pathways to higher education for first-generation students. Her background in programs like AVID and Girls Inc. drives her commitment to culturally responsive, community-based leadership. Emily holds a B.A. in English Literature and Urban Education from Mills College and an Ed.M. in Culture, Race, and Ethnic Studies from Harvard. She remains dedicated to empowering students and advocating for educational equity.
