As the Family and Advocacy Director at LEAF, Libier Gonzalez brings two decades of expertise in family engagement to her role. She enhances the family engagement program, providing essential support to Latinx families in East San José, and oversees the advocacy program, equipping students and families with tools to advocate for equity in educational funding. Libier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac and has a distinguished background in community engagement, including her roles as Regional Director for the Parent Institute for Quality Education and leading initiatives at Bellarmine College Preparatory and Presentation High School. Her commitment to educational equity is deeply personal, driven by her advocacy for her three children.
