Program To Watch for 2023 Examples of Excelencia
LEAF’s College Success Program has been selected as a Program to Watch for the 2023 Examples of Excelencia. This recognition is a testament to our commitment and focused efforts to improve the academic achievement of Latino students on our campus and in the wider community. LEAF is immensely proud to be one of the eight programs handpicked by Excelencia In Education from a pool of 103 nominations, and this recognition fuels our drive to continue making a positive difference in the lives of our students.
CORE Collective Cohort 2023 – 2025
LEAF was selected to be part of a cohort of eight remarkable organizations that share a vision of equity and inclusion in California's education systems. Through The Education Trust-West's CORE Collective, LEAF and its fellow cohort organizations aim to empower and serve students, parents, families, and communities most affected by racialized opportunity and investment gaps in education. Together, the CORE Collective aspires to build power and advocate for racially equitable and just educational policy and systems change.
Recognized Resource Provider
LEAF’s commitment to promoting postsecondary access and success is unwavering, and a core component of our support offerings is direct fiscal support to students and their families. LEAF is proud to share that our dedication has been recognized by the National Scholarship Providers Association, which has awarded LEAF the prestigious 2023 Scholarship Provider of the Year (SPOY) Award in the small provider category. This achievement inspires us to continue utilizing the organization’s unique resources, encouraging innovation, and positively impacting our communities and beyond.
