Celebrating the Impact of Our Students and Families

Reflecting on the past school year, we are filled with pride and gratitude for the incredible achievements of our students and families.

This Year:

Scholars Attending Colleges: Our scholars are making strides in higher education, with students attending 34 colleges across California.

Persistence in Community Colleges and Trade Schools: An impressive 74% of our students continue their education in community colleges or trade schools. Among them, 14 have earned certificates and/or associate degrees.

Success at Four-Year Universities: 89% of our students at four-year universities are persisting in their studies. Additionally, 9 students have successfully transferred from community colleges to four-year universities.

PUENTE DE LEAF Program: Since 2021, over 300 families have graduated from our PUENTE DE LEAF summer transitional program and Advocacy programs.

Parental Support: 97% of parents reported an increased understanding of college-going readiness and career pathways to better support their students.

Career Mentorship: 31 career mentors have been paired with Career Exploration and Discovery (CED) students across various industries. Since September 2023, there has been a 32% increase in the number of students who know someone in their career field of interest whom they can reach out to for career advice.

LEAF Scholarships:

- 468 LEAF Scholars received $338,500 in scholarships this school year.

- 109 LEAF Mentors received $61,000 in scholarships this school year.

- 123 recipients received $33,500 in scholarships this school year.

- 68 CED Program participants received $34,000 in scholarships this school year.

We are immensely proud of the dedication and hard work our students have shown, and we look forward to celebrating even more successes in the future.
